Conceptual Design

GLOBAL IMPACT

WELCOME to the Rosetta Stone Traveling Exhibit project!

Anyone interested in archaeology, Egyptology, cryptology, publishing, IT security, geology, science, writing, mathematics, translation work and/or languages understands the significance of this famous artifact.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND & SIGNIFICANCE: The Rosetta Stone was found in 1799 on the west bank of the Nile by Napoleon's French soldiers. This 1,700-pound fragment of an ancient slab gave up the clues that ultimately cracked the code to hieroglyphics some 23 years later, in 1822—unlocking the secrets of ancient Egypt. Perhaps one of the most important finds in the past three centuries...yet hardly anyone knows about it.

And that's why we have embarked upon this grand vision, with international impact -- to design a 5,000 sq.ft. traveling exhibit that will engage kids of all ages through the gateways of technological amazement and S.T.E.A.M. education.

After the first Rosetta Stone Exhibit travels around its 7-year North American orbit to museums and science centers, The Freeman Institute Foundation has promised to donate the exhibit to The Preservation Foundation Trust in Barbados. It will then become a static museum -- tourist destination -- in the Bridgetown region.

Once the template is designed and fabricated, our global plan is to utilize the dramatic and famous Rosetta Stone story to make critical thinking & problem solving “sexy” again — throughout the USA, Canada, China, SE Asia, Europe, South America, and various other regions of the world.
Once each exhibit has completed its respective 7-year orbit, the entire exhibition will be donated to a country by the Freeman Institute Foundation to become a static museum, helping to promote tourism and local jobs.

Plus, each static museum will include a “Problem-Solving Institute”. For instance, in Barbados, we will identify as many of the “Bajan Diaspora” — people who are residing in other parts of the world for advanced education, jobs or for other purposes. They will join the locals in identifying the top 25 problems in that region of the world…and then solving each one of those problems.

Once the template for the first 5,000 sq.ft. exhibit is developed, we can then create six more 5,000 sq.ft. exhibits for travel in their separate orbits -- North America, SE Asia, China (2 exhibits), Europe and South America.

In North America we will have two exhibits, but after three years one of those exhibits will step away to visit large cities with cultural centers not serviced by the other orbits (e.g. Sydney, Moscow, Cairo, New Delhi, Lagos, Tel Aviv, Istanbul and more...)

Corporations spend millions of dollars for a 30-second ad during the Super Bowl. Weeks later, hardly anyone can remember even one ad shown on TV during the last Super Bowl.

I am personally inviting corporations, foundations and individuals to be significant early adopters of this rather unique edu-tainment project.

My promise is that our dedicated team will continue to work hard to make the marketing/branding benefits well worth your while over a sustained 7 years…and beyond.
